SKI AND SNOWBOARD
SCHOOL The Escuela de
Esquí de las Leñas is perfect to learn how to ski and snowboard.
It is staffed with a team of 120 instructors, both Argentines and foreigners,
in order to ensure everybody's needs are satisfied.
Baby Leñas: It provides baby-sitting services for babies from 2
months to 1 year of age.
Mini Leñas: It offers introductory lessons with soft boots and
skis for 1-to-3-year-olds.
Jardín de Nieve: For kids between 3 and 6 years of age. Specialized
instructors teach children to take their first skiing steps.
LIFTS
The valley has 12 lifts that can carry 9,200 skiers per hour.
GROOMING AND
SNOW-MAKING FACILITIES Five cats are used
for the daily grooming of the trails. This center's snow-making machines
may cover with artificial snow over 40 hectares of skiable runs apart
from the base.
