THE COUNTRY HOUSE
El Pilar Inn, the first establishment in the valley of the Río de las Vueltas, is surrounded by a native lenga tree forest. It is a replica of one of the large Patagonian country houses which sheltered the pioneers who came to colonise Patagonia from all over the world. There are 10 very comfortable rooms available with private bathroom and mountain views and a cosy country lounge where you can relax by the centrally located fireplace while you enjoy reading an interesting book borrowed from the bookshelves. The chef offers an extensive menu with his own recipes created exclusively for our guests. To maximise your enjoyment of the beauty of the area and of the activities available, El Pilar Inn arranges free inbound and outbound transfers to El Chaltén, in addition to a daily shuttle service.

IN THE VALLEY OF THE RÍO DE LAS VUELTAS
You will find a warm atmosphere from which you can experience Patagonia and discover, much like the first explorers, one of the most remote and inaccessible areas of the Andean mountain range. It is the starting point for many footpaths that entice you to explore the region and to delight in the stillness of the mountain, broken only by the sounds of nature.

The conservation of the Nothofagus (lenga tree) forest environment, which has been in force for decades, makes the Patagonian fauna extremely tame. This allows our guests to enjoy fascinating encounters and feel the emotions the first naturalists and mountaineers to reach the area must have experienced.

We must conserve nature not because we have inherited it from our parents, but because we have borrowed it from our children.

DAY 3 - Boat Excursion to Los Glaciares National Park to enjoy three amazing glaciers: Upsala, Onelli and Spegazzini

DAY 4 - Transfer to airport
