What´s to do if I don´t ski

Portillo isn’t just a place to ski or snowboard, it is much, much more: a place to socialize, relax, rejuvenate the mind and body. Often our guests opt to take a day or two off from skiing or snowboarding, and they always find more than enough to occupy their time. We continue to serve pastries and coffee after breakfast, so you can sleep in if you like. Our cyber café lets guests catch up on their e-mails or the news, and we also provide a daily condensed version of the New York Times newspaper, which we distribute throughout the lobby and living area. If you don’t have your own book, you can pick one up in our library (a few gems and lots of mystery and romance novels). For a workout, head to our weight room, and later take a yoga or aerobics class.

Some of our guests have been known to head directly to Tío Bob’s restaurant and spend the afternoon there, skiing only to get back down to the hotel. Take a swim and lounge poolside. Catch a movie in our cinema. Relax with a massage.
